HOUSE RULES
- Members must have their membership cards on them at all times.
- Members must sign their guests/visitors in at the visitors register, and accompany them for the duration of the visit.
- Members and visitors are expected to follow the reasonable directions of staff, and abide by the rules of the club at all times.
- The standard of dress, including footwear, must be reasonable - particularly in the evenings after 6pm. Gumboots, muddy shoes, and men's sleeveless shirts are not acceptable.
- No headwear to be worn in the gaming bar, or dining area, unless approved by a Duty Manager.
- Disorderly, threatening, or offensive behaviour by the members and visitors will not be tolerated.
- Language and behaviour must be such as not to offend. Offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
- No persons under the age of 18 are permitted in the sports bar and smoking areas, other than;
- to participate in invitation or interclub events and
- in such circumstances, these visits must be approved in advance by the Club Manager or Duty Manager. - Complaints must be made in writing within seven (7) days of the incident and member must be prepared to appear before the Executive.
- Liquor must be consumed within 15 minutes of the bar closing, and the premises cleared 15 minutes after that.
- Behaviour or actions by members that cause the Club to come into disrepute, will not be tolerated.
- Anyone in breach of these rules may result in a disciplinary hearing as per the Rules of the Wanganui East Club Incorporated (the Constitution).
